Galapagos Kosher is the smallest son of GalapagosFirst and was created after having 8 years of different requests from clients to obtain Kosher meals in Galapagos. On October 2005 during a tourism Trade Show in Manhattan we lanched the KOSHER PRODUCT, couple of days later Mr. Uriel Heilman writer of Jerusalem Post came to our country to lear abot it, later beginning of December same year he wrote about s and mentioned our old website ecuadoor.com.

It took a full year, trips to Israel and a lot of investigation to lear n and bring all the necessary staff to be able to operate it with complete success, next december we received the first Full Glatt Kosher group.

Our Rabbi is from the Orthodox stream, who received his studies in Israel with Rabbi Druckmann took care of the Kashrut supervision.

Nowdays after some years retired we are back with more experience, courses, a degree in Pastry Chef, and Wedding Specialist and all the love to put or heart in every minute of your trip. We take care of every single aspect of your reservation since the minute you send the request until you leave back home even more.

We love quality even we know this doesn´t mean is cheap and considering the costs of kosher supplies we make affordable programs for the most demanding clients. Rabbin Albin provides for all the trips with the chicken and meat. In case of small groups fresh meals will be prepared by himself and packed, freeze in case of the islands and delivered them. For gorups over 7 people the Rabbi will give the supervision in Quito and Galapagos Islands. All the staff is brand new and will be transported together with the group for each trip, according to our rules we avoid the use of disppossable staff unless it is extremely necessary.

Fresh meals, juices are prepared for you and for Shabbat we make sure you have all the necessary requirements. Candles, cut toilet paper, purified water are delivered to your hotel room additional to some ammenities to make your trip to this magical part of the world a Unique and wonderful experience.

Our suggested itinerary

Day 01: Thursday

Arrival to Tababela airport and transfer to hotel in Quito

Accommodations in twin or double bed room either Mercure Hotel or Dann Carlton Hotel

Day 02: Friday

After breakfast we will leave to the North to visit the wornderful area of Otavalo known for its people who make incredible handcrafts specially wool tapestries. At lunch time we will stop at Colonial Hacienda where meals prepared by the Rabbi will be served. Return on time to Quito for Shabbat.

Preparation for Shabbat, candles will be provided and will arrange with hotel for securities.

In case we have a big group Religious service will be organize with separation for men and women.

Shabbat dinner with Kind David´s kosher sweet wine brought from Israel.

Day 03: Saturday

After breakfast in case we have a big group Religious service will be organize with separation for men and women.

Shabbat lunch: Depending on the hotel chosen a walking tour to either the Gold Museum where the main archaeological pieces of ecadorian culture are exposed or visit to the Botanical Garden where the main orchids of Ecuador are cultivated, also a nice Japaneese garden was recently inaugurated.

Havdalah Blessings.

Day 04: Sunday

A packed breakfast will be taken so you can have breakfast on the bus or at the airport due to a very early deeparture.

Flight Quito / Galapagos (air ticket not included)

Upon arrival to Baltra airport transportation to the Island of Santa Cruz

After a late lunch visit to the Highlands of Santa Cruz where the giant famous turtles live in the wild.

Dinner at the hotel

Day 05: Monday

Breakfast at hotel.

Navigation to North Seymour Islands, packed lunch will be served on board.

Dinner at hotel.

Day 06: Tuesday

Breakfast at hotel.

Visit to Santa Fe or Plazas South Island snorkelling included, packed lunch will be served on board.

Dinner at hotel.

Day 07: Wednesday

Breakfast at hotel.

Visit to Bartholomew or Isabella Island, snorkelling included in Bartholome, packed lunch will be served on board.

Dinner at hotel.

Day 08: Thursday

After an early breakfast at hotel trasnfer to Baltra Island for flight back to Quito.

Arrival to Tababela airport and transfer to hotel in Quito.

Late supper.

Day 09: Friday

After Breakfast trip to Tandayapa to see 1000 hummingbirds of 31 different species, walk in the paths, on the way stop at Calacalí Middle of the World Monument. Lunch is prepared by the Rabbi and transport with you to eat on the reserve. Return on time for Shabbat.

Preparation for Shabbat, candles will be provided and will arrange with hotel for securities.

Either after Havdalah transport to Tababela airport for midnight flight back home or overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Sunday

Early departure to Tababela airport for flight back home, in case of flights leaving after 9 a.m. breakfast will be provided.

We can add extensions to Jungle or Perú or longer stays in the Islands, since our programs are tailor made there is no problem to modify them.
