The Jambelí Property is located only to 16 km of Naranjal, in the route to Machala, exactly aa bt Balao chico.

This property that is at the end of Spurs of Molleturo, that is part of the Eastern mountain range of the Andes, is contiguous in its Eastern part with more than 1200 hectares of mangrove swamp which they border the Channel of Jambelí, of which the estate acquired its name.

It was part of a great large estate, the Property “Small Balao” that belonged to the South American Fruit Company, and before that to the Rubira-Morla family.

It is possible get into the estate, fluvial and by land aerial. Its extension is of 2400 hectares.

The daily life of the Property is very varied due to the viable diversity of uses that occurs to the ground. The tasks fulfilled by the personnel are entertained and are ligature to the customs of the zone intimately. Between the existing tourist resources, they are possible to be mentioned:

Cattle ranch - The property counts on 380 heads of cattle, many of them milkmaids the same one who are milked 2 times to the day in corrals readily accessible. The visitor will observe the ability of the cattle tenders to extract milk with the hands and will be able to help to milk she prefers if it.

Banana - He includes/understands 107 hectares of plantations and one packing plant; here it is possible to be observed the personnel in the harvest tasks, transports by the trail rope and packing. The visitors will be able to observe all the process of production of the fruit.

Cacaotera –  With an extension of 50 hectares. Every day, a human team dedicates to the workings of harvest of mature maize-cobs, breaking of maize-cobs, stripped, fermentation, ventilation and drying of the grain in tendales. The visitors will cross the plantations and to help if they prefer therefore it. In the future near the artisan chocolate manufacture will be taught.

Rodeo montubio - Is realised it within the facilities of the property with cattle tenders of the zone, who demonstrated their skills in the taming of chúcaros colts, I caracole that it is a modality to mount colts with mount without brake and spur; and to mount the horse hair, that is to say to mount without brakes, without mount but the rider uses spur. Shrimp fisher - She is located to 3 kilometres from the front door of the Property, has an extension of 1500 hectares, between swimming pools, nursery, walls and reservoirs. It is possible to be observed the personnel realising his daily tasks such as to feed, to harvest, to transfer shrimps, sowing of larva, samplings of densidad, taking of parameters, among others.

Artisan fishing - It is realised in an access channel the shrimp fisher, and in the channel reservoir, can be fished with hooks: smooth, corvinas (Sea Bass), catfishes, snorer.

Centre of Rescue of Wild Life - It is located in the entrance of the Property, is the Centre of older Rescue of Wild Life of the Country, has 250 animal pertaining to 40 native and endemic species of the Ecuadorian coast, many of them in extinction danger such as the crocodile of the coast, papagayo of guayaquil, monkey spider of the coast, pacharaca, jaguar, puma, bear of spectacles, among others.

Mangrove swamp - 1200 hectares of mangrove swamp forest Exist bordering to the shrimp fisher that are the habitat of pelicans, white frigates, storks, herons, pink herons, gulls, sparrowhawks, güaques, crabs, jaibas, snails, fish, among others.

In canoes to oars one advances by a channel and it is arrived at the mouth of the Jagua River where their waters are mixed with those of the Channel of Jambelí in playón of earth and sand that next to the silhouette of the Island Fist that draws the sun in the decline, forms a beautiful landscape that recreates the view and gives peace to the soul.
